The Omnipure Inline Calcite and Corosex filter cartridge filters raises the pH of your water in order to make it a neutral pH. This filter also acts as a remineralizing filter and contains granular activated Carbon media in order to remove bad tastes and odours.  The cartridge can be easily installed inline with your Reverse Osmosis system or seperately as an inline filter . Great for increasing pH in drinkable water for those who wish to have more alkaline water, Re-Mineralizing your water, balacing the pH in your Aquarium or Fishtank.

How often are Calcite/ Carbon Filters to be changed?

Inline Filters should be changed between 6 months to once a year depending on water quality in order to keep the pH at a neutral level. A few ways to tell would be to test the pH and TDS of your treated water.

What are TDS readings?

TDS readings are the measurements used to determine the total dissolved solids that are in a drinking water sample. The lower the readings the fewer particles in the water the purer the water is.

How can I test my reverse osmosis drinking water to make sure it’s working?

Two easiest methods of checking the quality of your reverse osmosis are:

• Bring a water sample to our Aquapura water depot home improvement treatment store
• A TDS (Total Dissolve Solids) meter can be purchased so you can perform your own test to assure that your reverse osmosis filters are still filtering properly
