Resin
The Aquapura Smart water softeners are built with General Technologies’ 10% Crosslinked Water Softener resin. General Tech’s 10% resin is more durable than the average 7% water softener resin which is used in many water softeners on the market such as the “Bg Box” store brands. This Water softener resin is also more resistant to the chlorine and amonia used in municipal water, which is destroying the lower quality resins. Additionally, This water softener resin will remove/reduce insoluble iron up to 5ppm.
