The Aquapura Platinum series water softener offers efficient and quality water softening without the proprietary premiums. Constructed with the German engineered Erie control valve to offer long-lasting water softening with less waste and repairs.
The Erie 2401 Metered Electronic Head
The Erie 2401 Metered control valves are one of the best quality control valves on the market. The Erie control valves contain minimal moving parts which means a lot less maintenance and service fees. The only real moving parts are the auger and the rotary disc which is teflon coated for superior longetivity. The Erie valve can easily be adjusted to meet your water softening needs with a number of customizations for better brine and/or water efficiency. The metered unit regenerates based on gallons and/or days, meaning no wasted regenerations!
Resin
The Aquapura Platinum water softeners are built with Waterite’s Severe Strength 10% Crosslinked Water Softener resin. Waterite’s Excelclear 10% resin is more durable than the average 7% water softener resin which is used in many water softeners on the market such as the “Bg Box” store brands. This Water softener resin is also more resistant to the chlorine and amonia used in municipal water, which is destroying the lower quality resins. Additionally, This water softener resin will remove/reduce insoluble iron up to 5ppm.
